Hi, my name is Mademoiselle Pippa, and I am an artist.
In my work, I seek to find a balance between organic forms, contemporary design, and naive art.
I create sculptures, jewelry, and bas-reliefs that capture elements of the living and somewhat magical world — mushrooms, plants, fish, and animals.
I strive to combine the seemingly incompatible — soft organic shapes and hard textures, deep ideas and naive execution. I’m also crazy about experimenting and love a touch of eccentricity!
Each of my projects attempts to capture a fleeting glimpse and preserve it in durable, lasting materials. My creative journey began with illustrations and botanical bas-reliefs, which are much like film photography — they allow you to capture a moment and hide it in a physical frame. I pour a lot of my personal feelings and emotions into what I create with my hands, finding something therapeutic in the process.
Eyes often appear in my works as the idea of presence and the unbiased observer. That's why my silent fish have sad, human-like eyes, and my wise hearts see through everything.
Thank you for your interest in my art. I hope my works resonate with your thoughts and feelings!
Yours, MIPA
